DIY Quantum Learning

Free, online learning opportunities from CQE members and partners

Quantum technology jobs are increasingly available to people who do not have PhDs—especially in the industry sector, where about two-thirds of quantum jobs are open to those with a bachelor’s degree or less. Instead, employers say curiosity, transferrable skills, and basic retraining are the keys to getting hired for many roles.

For those looking to develop a familiarity with the field or build a specific skill, a variety of CQE members and partners offer online courses, tutorials, websites, and other resources. Many are free and available online.

Below is a listing of opportunities, organized by subject matter. This list is not comprehensive, and inclusion does not imply a specific recommendation or endorsement or any promises about outcome. We are sharing these resources for informational purposes only.
