2025 is the International Year of Quantum

The United Nations has proclaimed a year-long, worldwide International Year of Quantum (IYQ) to increase public awareness of the importance of quantum science and applications. The year 2025 was chosen because it recognizes 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics.
