Students, postdocs, and members of the Chicago Quantum Exchange are invited to submit posters on any quantum information science and engineering topic for the 2025 Chicago Quantum Summit poster session. Confirmed presenters will receive a complimentary Summit ticket, display their poster during the evening session on November 3, and be eligible for poster awards.
The Consulate General of Canada in Chicago is partnering with the Chicago Quantum Exchange on the Summit poster session — a role meant to highlight Canada’s continued and growing strength and leadership in quantum technologies. Canada, which launched its national quantum strategy in 2023, has quantum hubs in Sherbrooke, Quebec; Waterloo, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; and Vancouver, British Columbia. CQE corporate partner Xanadu, a full-stack quantum computing company, is based in Toronto and will be speaking at the Summit. Nathan Killoran, CTO for Software at Xanadu, will join a panel on scaling quantum technologies by connecting modalities and supply chains, highlighting opportunities in quantum computing, networking, and other applications. Another CQE corporate partner, D-Wave, operates in both the United States and Canada, reflecting the country’s established presence in quantum research and commercialization.
“Canada is a global powerhouse in quantum technology, with thriving, cutting-edge innovation hubs that are rapidly translating research into commercial opportunity,” said Madeleine Fequiere, Canada’s Consul General in Chicago. “Our strengths span the entire range of quantum science—making Canada a strategic partner for businesses looking to lead in the quantum era. I invite attendees of the Chicago Quantum Summit to connect with Canada’s team to explore why forward-thinking companies are choosing Canada to power their quantum ambitions.”
