Quantum Education Research

Quantum scientists and researchers in the fields of computer science, engineering, and physics education research are studying how students navigate the counterintuitive world of quantum information science and technology. In the CQE community, researchers are developing interactive games and other tools that prioritize conceptual literacy; studying and launching quantum-focused curricular components, including undergraduate courses, new degree programs, and methods for teaching K-12 students; and exploring approaches to teacher preparation. The field is an important part of scaling the quantum technology workforce over the next decade.
