Q2B x Chicago Quantum Summit will anchor the second annual Midwest Quantum Week, a complement of events and activities that showcase the growing strength of the Illinois-Wisconsin-Indiana region known as the Quantum Prairie.
The events include opportunities to network, learn, and pitch quantum innovations.
Among this year’s Midwest Quantum Week events:
- Quantum Recruiting Forum (December 7 at mHUB), an opportunity for hundreds of student and postdoctoral job seekers opportunities to engage with quantum employers via a career fair and one-on-one meetings.
- Quantum Developer Day hosted by qBraid (December 7 at the Aon Center). The program focuses on quantum applications in production, with technical sessions, live hardware demos and time to meet enterprises and researchers.
- The Q2B26 x Chicago Quantum Summit Pitch Competition (December 8 at the Chicago Marriott Marquis) will culminate in 10 early-stage quantum or quantum-enabling startups showcasing their innovations in front of a dedicated jury and global audience. Total prize pool of $150,000. Deadline to apply: November 20, 2026.
- QUANTUM ROUNDTABLE: What's Your Business 'Qase'? (December 9 at the Union League Club of Chicago). The program hosted by Qampus Clubs and the Union League Club of Chicago’s Tech Group, is part of an event series designed to help equip the broader Chicagoland business community with practical quantum literacy across the entire QIST spectrum so they can begin envisioning quantum‑driven applications relevant to their sectors.
- Boeing Quantum Creators Prize presentations at Q2B x Chicago Quantum Summit. The BQCP program recognizes early-career researchers for work that moves the field of quantum information science and engineering in new directions. Winners will present their work at Q2B x Chicago Quantum Summit. Deadline to apply: September 18, 2026.
