The Chicago Quantum Exchange (CQE), and the Computer Science Department (CS) and Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) at the University of Chicago are seeking exceptional candidates for the Chicago Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship in Theoretical Quantum Science.
Chicago Prize Postdoctoral Fellows will have the opportunity to interact with both computer scientists and physicists at the University of Chicago. Current senior members of the group include Aash Clerk, Giulia Galli, and Liang Jiang from the PME as well as Fred Chong and Bill Fefferman from the CS department. Fellowships are awarded for a duration of two years to outstanding young scientists and engineers, with the possibility of a third year support. Applicants should have a strong background for pursuit of research in their area of interest. Successful candidates are encouraged to collaborate with members of the broad experimental quantum information program at the University of Chicago (see here). Applications focused on collaborative and cross-disciplinary research are especially encouraged.
