Ground-breaking quantum computing experiments revisited using new control paradigm and a standard programming language

This workshop is aimed for experimental quantum physicists as well as theoreticians interested in the control aspects of quantum systems.
Audience:
Experience in working in quantum computing / sensing / QIS labs is a big advantage, as well as an aspiration to work closely with experimental groups in implementing theoretical concepts of optimal control. Prior knowledge of quantum information theory as well as writing (basic) Python code would be an advantage as well.
Learning goals:
- Grasping how to break down and analyze the concrete control requirements in quantum computing / sensing / QIS experiments in order to achieve optimal performance
- Get to know new capabilities of the state-of-the-art control systems, and what research opportunities they open compared to legacy control systems
- Learn how to write basic code in QUA, a Python-embedded pulse-level programming language that is specifically deigned for the control of quantum experiments
