Urbana, IL: Fall Workshop on Advancing Quantum Technologies in the Midwest

A coalition led by the Chicago Quantum Exchange has been invited to submit a proposal for up to $160 million in funding from the NSF Regional Innovation Engines program, due in February 2025. To both catalyze regional coordination and prepare for this proposal, the coalition is leading fall workshops focused on advancing quantum technologies in the Midwest.  

All regional organizations across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana are invited to join the workshops, which will:

• Review and solicit feedback on the regional quantum research-to-commercialization and workforce strategy developed through summer workshops across the region.
• Identify priority quantum research and translation projects.
• Build workforce development pathways across the region.

The workshops and all information discussed within will be held under Chatham House Rules.
