The 2022 Chicago Quantum Recruiting Forum brought together current quantum leaders from both academia and industry with the rising generation of quantum scientists and engineers. This forum was an outstanding opportunity for students to catalyze their careers and employers to recruit top talent.
- 91 Students attended from: UChicago, Argonne, Fermilab, UIUC, UW-Madison, Northwestern, Ohio State, Chicago State, Illinois Tech and UIC.
- 16 Companies attended, including: Ally, Atom Computing, Boeing, ColdQuanta, EeroQ, Fermilab, Hamamatsu, HRL, IBM, IonQ, Protiviti, QuantCAD, Quantopticon, and Super.tech.
Participants were able to explore quantum careers and academic pathways through this experiential, half-day immersion in quantum and innovation. The forum included guest speaker panels featuring quantum experts, a keynote address, sessions with leading researchers, and networking opportunities. Students were also asked to submit their resumes upon registration and companies were able to view the resumes prior to the in-person event.
