Rigetti’s mission is to build powerful quantum computers to help solve some of the most important and pressing problems in the world. Founded in 2013, Rigetti is building quantum computers that could scale to solve computationally complex problems at high speed. The company has invented and patented core technology, owning critical IP for their breakthrough multi-chip processor and the hybrid quantum-classical approach that has become the predominant quantum computing architecture. Rigetti believes their full-stack development approach — from chip design and manufacturing through cloud delivery — offers the fastest path to building quantum computers that could begin to unlock a potentially world-changing opportunity.
The virtual Quantum Employer Spotlight series provides opportunities for trainees to hear from experts in the quantum field about their institutional QISE strategies and hiring needs, and for employers to connect virtually with prospective interns and employees.
