Dr. Stefan Bogdanovic has over 12 years of experience in developing and commercializing quantum technologies across academia (TU Delft, Harvard), large corporations (Google X), and dynamic startups (SandboxAQ). As the founder and lead of the Quantum Sensing roadmap at SandboxAQ, he spearheads cutting-edge research and product development to unlock the transformative potential of quantum sensing technologies across diverse industries.

Quantum sensors are a proven technology that has already significantly impacted various industries, including healthcare, environmental monitoring, and navigation. Despite their established use cases, quantum sensors continue to develop at a remarkable pace, with industry striving to translate these advancements into the next generation of innovative applications. In this talk, I will discuss our journey in commercializing quantum sensor systems for novel applications, using Magnetocardiography (MCG) as a case study, and focus on the factors that influence their successful transition from research to market.
