Emily Edwards

Dr. Emily Edwards is the Executive Director of the Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology Center (IQUIST) as well as an Executive Committee Member and Science Advisory Board Member. Launched in 2018, IQUIST brings together physicists, electrical engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians, entrepreneurs, and other experts to accelerate growing efforts in quantum information science (QIS) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Edwards also leads Q2Work, a member of the National Q-12 Education Partnership and an NSF funded program that provides coordination and leadership to ultimately facilitate the community in its efforts to bring QIS into the classroom and other learning environments.
