Daniel Shoemaker

The Shoemaker group synthesizes new and underexplored materials with correlated electrons and explores chemical methods of tuning their behavior. Crystal growth, optical and structural characterization, magnetism, X-ray and neutron scattering, and computational explorations of phase space are all relevant for emerging materials in quantum information science.
