Workshop on Advancing Quantum Networking and Sensing in the Midwest

This workshop, co-sponsored by the Chicago Quantum Exchange (CQE) NSF Regional Innovation Engine development award and UIC, will convene leaders from academia, national laboratories, and industry across the Midwest, alongside select national/global stakeholders, to chart a strategic vision for the future of quantum sensing and networking in the region.

The goal of this 2-day event is to identify how to leverage the Midwest’s traditional strengths, identify gaps that limit near-term success and leadership, and develop a plan for the future. The workshop agenda will feature select presentations by leading experts, with the majority of the time dedicated to in-depth and interactive discussions. We aim for this workshop to serve as a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing and help to advance the field and the region.
