Quantum Applications for Space Workshop
- When:
- Wednesday, October 22, 2025 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Where:
- Purdue University, Stewart Center, 128 Memorial Mall Dr, West Lafayette, IN 47907
- Description:
-
The Chicago Quantum Exchange, Purdue University, and Infleqtion are bringing leading academic, government, and industry researchers together from physics, engineering, and other disciplines for a one-day workshop at the intersection of quantum information science applications for space.
As quantum networking and sensing are unleashing a revolution in how we transmit, secure, measure, and process information, the workshop foci will address how to leverage these technologies for applications in space, spanning spaceborne quantum sensors to free space quantum networks, and others.
Primed with keynote lectures and panels, workshop participants will participate in interactive discussions and parallel tracks on quantum sensing and networking applications for space.
Confirmed Speakers:
- Dana Anderson, Founder & Chief Science Officer, Infleqtion
- Sasha Boltasseva, Ron and Dotty Garvin Tonjes Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University
- John L. Callas, Project Manager, Mars Exploration Rover project Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA (virtual)
- Caitlin Carnahan, Vice President, Quantum Software, Infleqtion
- Paul Kwiat, Professor, UIUC
