Title: Quantum Error Correction beyond the CSS Hamming Bound

Prof. Bane Vasić of The University of Arizona, Prof. Liang Jiang of The University of Chicago and their colleagues will explain their work to surpass the CSS Hamming bound for generic quantum low-density parity-check code families by concatenating them with the Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill (GKP) code, demonstrating a natural way to exploit the GKP analog information in an iterative decoding algorithm.
