CQE Seminar: ASTM’s ASCET Center of Excellence

Join this Chicago Quantum Exchange Seminar to learn about ASCET Center of Excellence, an initiative of ASTM launched by a NIST Cooperative Agreement, in advance of a March in-person workshop.

The goal of the ASCET is to create and maintain a U.S. Center of Excellence to support U.S. engagement in international standardization for critical and emerging technologies (CETs), including quantum technology, that are essential to U.S. economic competitiveness and national security. The ASCET Center of Excellence focuses on four broad areas: 1) pre-standardization engagement; 2) workforce capacity building; 3) a collaborative pilot program with NIST in CETs; and 4) creating an information and data sharing hub. This seminar and discussion will engage the CQE community and provide opportunities to shape an upcoming March 31 CQE and ASCET workshop in Chicago, IL.
