Building Fault-Tolerant Quantum Algorithms: An Interactive Workshop with Construct
- When:
- Thursday, November 6, 2025 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
- Where:
- Hyde Park Labs, 5207 South Harper Avenue, Chicago
- Description:
-
In this half-day interactive workshop, you’ll explore Construct, PsiQuantum’s purpose-built platform for fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC). We’ll dive into the specific tools that address the unique challenges of authoring quantum programs. Starting from the basic building blocks, we’ll move into in-depth algorithm design and analysis, complete with detailed quantum resource estimations.
We'll also share insights into what it's like to work at PsiQuantum, along with the career paths available and the skill sets that are most valued across our different departments.
Join us to discover the future of quantum programming.
Speakers:
- Kevin Gui, Quantum Applications Architect
- Ian Nanez, Senior Product Manager
- Andrew Litteken, Quantum Applications Software Developer
This workshop is intended for students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty, and scientists who
- Have an existing background in quantum computing
- Want to learn more about fault-tolerant quantum algorithm development and quantum resource estimation
- Are currently affiliated with a CQE member institution (University of Chicago, Argonne National Laboratory, Fermilab, University of Illinois, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Northwestern University, Purdue University)
To secure the early access license to Construct needed to fully participate in the workshop, participants are asked to register in advance. Registration closes Thursday, October 16.
Part of Midwest Quantum Week, a series of fall events anchored by the 2025 Chicago Quantum Summit.
