The Virginia Tech Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering (VTQ) and the Co-design Center for Quantum Advantage (C2QA) offer a four-day virtual workshop to introduce students, educators, and other quantum-interested individuals to the exciting field of quantum information science and engineering (QISE). Program participants will explore the basic principles underlying quantum technologies and gain an appreciation for the novel capabilities unlocked by quantum mechanics. Introduction to QISE will be led by Sophia Economou — program founder, VTQ Director, Virginia Tech professor, and C2QA principal investigator.
